Turtle Island Staffing is currently recruiting for Financial Managers to work on future contracts within the federal government.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
• English essential;
• Secret Security Clearance;
• Must have minimum 10 years relevant experience in performance of duties indicated below; and
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word and Outlook.

MANDATORY EDUCATION:
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics AND/OR an accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA).

DUTIES:
• Plan, organize, manage and provide advice on financial operations, procurement, contracts administration, financial analysis, and reporting to central agencies.
• Manage and use the financial information system (PWGSC’s Common Departmental Financial System - CDFS), its inputs and outputs, the quality of data collection, and reports production.
• Organize and oversee the preparation and analysis of budgets.
• Develop options to address complex resource and expenditure management issues.
