Financial Analyst (Secret/Bilingual) Our government client PSC is seeking a temporary Financial Analyst. Duties/Tasks: * Improving the financial coding for grants and contributions * Putting in place stricter controls in the SAP financial system * Developing the crosswalk for the transition between the current Program Activity Architecture (PAA) and the new PAA activities and ensuring its completeness. * Ensuring the integrity and functionality of the budgetary database (nominal budgets) * Complete review of the public security initiatives funds following the re-basing exercise * Coordinating application of the new Treasury Board Accounting Standard * As well as other complex financial analysis Requirements: * Bachelor's degree form a recognized university in administration, accounting, commerce or another related discipline * Bilingual * Secret security clearance * Experience in using the SAP system in the Federal Government * Experience in coordinating department budgetary review exercises * Experience in costing Treasury Board submissions * Experience in expressing financial information in the Program Activity Architecture (PAA) format and in the format of a department's internal coding structure * Experience in formulating recommendations to improve a department's financial information reporting process * Experience in formulating recommendations to improve a department's resource allocation process * Experience in producing complex financial analysis * Experience in a department's financial planning, analysis and reporting (internal and external) * Experience in developing crosswalks "Experience" means a minimum of ten (10) years or relevant experience While enthusiastic candidates are appreciated, only those being considered will be contacted If you are already registered with Turtle Island Staffing please email your consultant for more details about this position
