| Software Quality Assurance Manager We are looking for someone with a passion for doing the right thing and doing things right with an eye to overall business strategy. Key responsibilities: • Responsible for all product deliveries and QA processes • Ensure that the testing process delivers extremely high quality software • Testing process includes: review of functional specifications and design documents to ensure completeness, development of test plans and test cases (both functional test plans and system test plans), execution and tracking of test plans, documentation of results, design, execution and recording of regression test plans) • Ensure customer documentation is complete • Act as the corporate memory to ensure continuous learning on design and coding • Own and manage the QA process • Implement best practices Attributes we are looking for: • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment • Extreme focus on the quality that counts - what the customer experiences • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are an asset. • Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work Knowledge and skills we are looking for: • Experience leading a team through all stages of the software development life cycle • Knowledge and experience with the processes and tools needed to reliably design, deliver, test and support the QA role • Server 2000 or Oracle SQL • Microsoft IIS, Active Directory/LDAP experience an asset | |
