Accounting clerk/bookkeeper.

Padgett Business Services, a leader in financial reporting and tax consulting services, is seeking an experienced accounting clerk/bookkeeper. We offer flexible workday hours and work schedules. This is a part time position, initially 3 days a week, and is paid at an hourly rate. Only candidates interested in working as an employee of our organization should apply.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years bookkeeping experience:
·Preparing Year End financial statements & working papers
·Preparing Month-end and Year-end Reconciliations
·Preparing T1 personal tax returns
·Preparing government statutory remittances - T4, T5, Payroll, GST, PST, WSIB

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys challenges, and has the experience to demonstrate they can support the full cycle of small business accounting support from preparing monthly financials, account analysis and taxes. Job duties also include general office administrative functions as well as reception duties.

Other Job qualifications required:
·Proficient in data entry, both numeric and alpha, at least 45 wpm
·Fluency in written & spoken English
·Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
·Strong communication skills
·Ability to multi-task and manage priorities and work activities
·Mature, responsible, consistent, and self-motivated
